Dear WeCAN friends,
It's been a little over 3 months since I joined WeCAN as your new Executive Director, and I am humbled, amazed and so proud of what I have seen from so many of you, in so many ways!
I have observed so much—from large bids at silent auctions; daily hard work from volunteers; generous donations; collecting, sorting, and distributing winter clothing and holiday gifts; delivering food with a smile on a cold day; offering care and concern to clients . . . I could go on and on.
I know this is the “normal” activity that WeCAN provides every day, but to someone new to this great family, I am overwhelmed and in awe of just how powerful the work you do is to lift up children and families in need.
