Block of the Month Club!
Oh Happy Day from Sandy Gervais is a joyful explosion of color! In addition to the cheery and vibrant main print, there are diamonds and checks, circles, and squares, florals and shoo fly and versatile textures. There's also a panel that reminds us to "find your happy place" and "be the sunshine", along with "you can never have too much happy" and "old fashioned things like fresh air and sunshine are hard to beat". Just thinking about the quilting and sewing treasures you'll create will put a smile on your face. Oh happy day!!
We are so excited to offer our Oh Happy Day Block of the Month Club! We can all use a bit of happy in our day and this quilt is the perfect way to accomplish that! We hope you will sew along with us!
The Oh Happy Day Block of the Month Club is a nine month club and will start in March 2021 and run through November 2021. Each month you will receive enough fabric for the next blocks on the schedule and you will receive the Oh Happy Day Quilt Pattern with the first month's purchase. Monthly cost will be $24.98 which includes the cost of the pattern. If you choose to pay for the entire year at once, you will receive one block kit free.
By the time our club is finished, you will have created a beautiful 86 x 93 quilt top featuring this lovely Oh Happy Day fabric by Sandy Gervais. Binding is included with the club kits. More information to follow as the time gets closer.
Quilter of the Month
Joanne O'Reilly
Joanne is one of the friendly faces here at The Quiltmaker's Shoppe. She is self taught and has been quilting 30+ years. She loves batiks and is willing to try any technique including paper piecing, applique and regular piecing. Her favorite notion is the wool presser bar and she loves using Aurifil thread for almost all of her piecing. She rarely uses the same pattern more than once but likes Krista Moser as a designer. She's not afraid to try out new specialty rulers as they come out. Her favorite rulers for day to day quilting are from Quilter's Select. Her inspiration comes from other quilters. She loves to see what our customers have been doing. Be sure to check out our window featuring some of Joanne's beautiful quilted projects.

What's New & Tried and True....
We are excited to start a new program that will be featuring new products that we find along the way and revisiting some of our tried and true methods, notions, and rulers. On the fourth Wednesday and Saturday of each month, stop in to see what we've been playing with. We will share what we've learned about the product and if you're tempted, you will get 20% off any products that we are demonstrating that day. The same products will be shared on Wednesday and Saturday, so pick the day that works best for you and stop in to see us. Our first demo will be on Wednesday, January 27th and again Saturday, January 30th. We will demo whenever you pop in! Don't you just love a new year and a fresh start?
