Clean water for God's thirsty children
All over the world, in small villages and on the outskirts of major cities, mothers have taken on the responsibility of providing clean water to their own and three other families. Today we celebrate them as Water Women and Mothers.
Happy Mother’s Day To All the Moms In Our Community for Mission

We remember the soothing words, the calming caresses, the delicious meals. But what is always in our hearts is the love that was behind each of them.

For most of us, when we were ill our mothers would give us the readily-available medicines to make us healthy again. But many mothers around the world don't have the luxury of a drug store nearby.

Too many mothers don’t even have clean water to give their children. Filled with that same love all mothers have for their children, their hearts break with the sadness of seeing their little ones suffer

Your generous support of Water With Blessings is changing that. Each week, more mothers are trained as Water Women, and equipped with the Sawyer PointONE filter and bucket that will provide clean water to her own and three other families.

We thank you once again for making so much difference in so many lives. And today we celebrate all the mothers in our Community for Mission: those who have become Water Women, and those who have made it possible.

May God bless you all!
Tuesday is KYGivesDay: Let's make it rain clean water for God’s thirsty children

And remember that you can give right now if you’re ready…

Many of our supporters have already participated in this years KYGivesDay. A challenge grant is in place, and we are on pace for our best year yet in this Kentucky tradition.

As you may know, this annual event was designed years ago to give native Kentuckians around the world a chance to support charities in their home state. It’s an event filled with fun and inventive incentives to give. But as we’ve told you, you don’t have to live in Kentucky to join in the festivities.

On Tuesday, there will be prizes given randomly to the organizations involved, based on how their supporters are responding. So remember that our KYGives Water With Blessings page is ready when you are. To be a part of the fun, just click on the button below.
Our Grand Opening Was A Joyous Celebration!

Friday, May 7, was a beautiful day in Louisville: blue skies, a nice breeze, and many of our friends joining us for our long-awaited Grand Opening Celebration. We had good food (with WWB-blue ice cream), time to talk with folks we haven’t seen in a while, and some others we hadn’t met before. Our staff members (pictured) put in a lot of work in preparation for the event, and worked extra hard to make sure everything went as planned.

One of those new acquaintances was Bill Dieruf, Mayor of Jeffersontown, Kentucky (which is the area where we're located, even though it’s still a Louisville address). He was on hand to help cut the ribbon, but also gave a heartfelt talk about how impressed he is by the work of Water With Blessings.

But our biggest debt of gratitude is to all of you who have joined our Community for Mission over these 10 years. Thank you for making this day possible, and for the thousands of Water Women providing clean water to families all over the world.
All of God’s Thirsty Children Have Mothers Who Want The Best For Them...

And thanks to you, theyre getting something that the rest of us take for granted: clean water.

Now many children in impoverished areas around the world, like the little one you see here, are able to drink water that is free of the water-borne diseases and parasites that often cause life-threatening illness.

But we have a long way to go, and many more children to protect. Please consider helping us once again, or encouraging someone else to join our Community for Mission.

Your prayerful, generous contributions for those in need are changing lives every day. And in the coming weeks we will have great news about other opportunities opening up for us in other parts of the world.

If you would like, you can click the button below to join with others and become a monthly sustainer and sponsor two new Water Women each year. And please continue to pass this newsletter along to your friends and family members. Thanks to you, our numbers continue to grow.

May God bless you for your generosity!
Meet Mirian, One of Our
Water Women in Haiti
Things are improving in northern Honduras. But the people there are still recovering from the back-to-back hurricanes of 2020, and have a long way to go before they can get back to where they were before, which was a difficult situation to begin with.

Mirian is one of the thousands of Water Women who have been trained and equipped with a bucket and the Sawyer PointONE filter – because of your generous support.

We thank you once again for supporting the mothers who work so hard as Water Women in Honduras, and in impoverished areas all over the world.
