Rowayton Memorial Day Parade
We look forward to seeing this town show their patriotism as our beloved Memorial Day Parade returns on Sunday at noon. Choose a spot along McKinley Street or Rowayton Avenue to cheer on our veterans, fire fighters, police officers, local little league players, nursery schools, and more! This is a time honored tradition that finishes with a ceremony at the Veteran’s Canon to honor those who died serving our country. Don't forget to save room for hotdogs at the Rowayton Fire Department following the parade! For additional information contact Chris Sovak.
Bayley Beach - Season Officially Starts Saturday May 29
The season officially begins on Saturday and our hours are 8 AM to 9 PM Sunday through Thursday and 8 AM to 10 PM on Fridays and Saturdays. All residents require a beach sticker or a walk-in pass to enter for free; non-residents will be charged per the schedule established on our website. There will be gate guards at the entrance to Bayley whenever the beach is open.
If you are a resident and do not yet have your beach sticker, we are no longer offering walk-in sessions. You will need to go to our website, print out the application and follow the instructions (you will need to submit my mail). You can find the application here as well as all rules governing the beach https://www.r6td.com/bayley-beach/
Due to irregularities last year, there will be no pick ups from the District Clerk’s mailbox or residence. Please contact the Bayley Beach Manager, Bill Nollman, if you have any questions bnollman@rowayton6td.com
If you would like to host an event at Bayley, including reserving the Pavilion, please contact the Bayley Beach Manager, Bill Nollman, at bnollman@rowayton6td.com
Please remember, dogs are NOT allowed at Bayley Beach from April 1 until November 1.
