First Class Team Members Volunteer at ARL
Recently, some of our First Class team donated their Saturday morning to volunteer at the Animal Rescue League of Iowa, Iowa’s largest nonprofit animal shelter. Volunteers cleaned kennels and equipment, and took a few minutes to love on some of the pets that are waiting to be adopted.

Our Board is Comprised of Volunteer Members
As a financial cooperative, First Class Community Credit Union is governed by the Board of Directors, which is comprised of members who are elected democratically and serve voluntarily. The Board of Directors sets policies, directs the Credit Union's efforts to ensure the best interests of the membership are met, and has oversight of the auditing functions, ensuring member accounts are protected.
This unique philosophy is what sets your credit union apart from other financial institutions and, without our volunteers, our services could not be offered at such a low cost.
No experience is required to become a volunteer board member - only a willingness to give your time, and a strong desire to help First Class continue to succeed and grow.
