TCIS Holiday Traditions
festive_christmas_banner.jpg
As we decorate the office for the holiday season, we really try to make the Christmas tree special. Every year, each of us brings an ornament that represents our year. We gather together around the tree, each person takes a turn to present their ornament, tell their story of why they chose that ornament, then place it on the tree.
It's really fun to hear people's stories. Also, since so many of us have been with the agency for several years, it is quite the nostalgic time to go strolling down memory lane pulling out the ornaments from previous years. Below are some highlights from this year's tree decorating.
Jayson
It's been a wild ride for sure! Screaming and laughing along the way.
Angie
Got to swim with the Sharks at the Georgia Aquarium.
Jamie
Married in 2020 but just got to go on her honeymoon this year.
Amanda
Ugly sweater sums up her year. Some fun parts but also some not so pretty ones.
Teresa
Sugar 'n Spice ornament represents her first granddaughter who is due before the end of this year.
Julie
Celebrating 20 yrs at TCIS this year. My how time flies.
Jan
Lots of virtual meetings. Happy to see the team on a regular basis.

Angie's Diet
Destroying Dip
festive_christmas_banner.jpg
Usually, when we decorate the tree there are some yummy Christmas goodies to snack on. One of our favorite snacks is Angie's "Diet Destroying Dip"!

We'd feel bad mentioning it and not sharing the recipe so... here ya' go. Enjoy!
Ingredients
2 cups chopped pecans
2 cups shredded sharp cheese
1 cup mayo (use as little or as much as you would like)
6 sliced scallions
1 jar spicy raspberry/jalapeño or similar jam (in a pinch you can combine equal parts raspberry preserves and pepper jelly)

Directions
Thoroughly mix first four ingredients and spread in a pie plate. Top with spicy jam and serve with dipping-sized Fritos.
What do you think?
Sounds delish, will have to try it!
OMG, that sounds so sinful there is no way I am trying that.
from all of us at TCIS!
