A note from Barry~
 
Beads & Beyond was established as The Wall St. Beadstore in 1980. Since then I have felt driven to work with others to share and develop skills for creating and fabricating wearable art objects.
In 2004 we expanded into tools and supplies for Metalsmithing and Lapidary Arts. I studied these skills in a program at Haywood Tech.
We relocated from 34 years downtown to Fairview in Feb 2014. The new location offers more suitable workshop space and besides classes in beading, metal smithing & lapidary. We will be expanding into glass bead making and lost wax and Delft Clay casting.
Our goal is what our name implies, "beyond beads". I want to provide a collaboratorive workspace,much like European and early America metal smiths. Paul Revere worked as a Metalsmith in such a workshop.
I want Beads & Beyond to inspire and carry on this tradition.
We offer shop time, by the hour, and the use of our equipment for creative efforts. We are happy to share our knowledge in the many classes we offer. Watch for classes with visiting offers.
At Beads & Beyond we offer an inspirational inventory ranging from the ancient past to the contemporary, specializing in tools, supplies and instruction in the Jewelry Arts to help turn ideas into reality.
