DID YOU KNOW?
One in three individuals diagnosed with Covid-19 are also diagnosed with a psychiatric disorder, such as anxiety, depression or insomnia, within the next three months.
Your Neighbors Need Your Help
Over the past several years, we have seen a dramatic rise in mental health needs. In this past year alone, we have provided over 900 free psychiatric patient visits to Central Florida's uninsured through our Outlook Clinic, but there are still hundreds more in need. On Giving Tuesday, November 30th, you can show your support for our community's mental wellness, by giving a gift that will help provide free and compassionate healthcare and the hope for a brighter future.
Happy Holidays!
From everyone at the Mental Health Association of Central Florida, we wish you Happy Holidays. We hope you take time to spend with your loved ones and care for your mental health throughout the holiday season.
Project Cheer
For over 10 years we've been providing care packages to over 350 local behavioral hospital patients in an effort to spread holiday cheer. You can help by making a donation today, one $10 donation covers the cost of one care package, or by gifting care package items prior to Friday, December 10th. You Are A Lifeguard
According to the CDC, emergency room visits by adolescent girls for suspected suicide attempts rose 51% between February and March 2021, compared to pre-pandemic numbers.

You Are A Lifeguard is building a network of suicide prevention Lifeguards committed to helping themselves or individuals that may be in need of support. Just taking the time to talk can make all the difference.

Legacy of Champions Luncheon
We are gearing up for next year's Legacy of Champions Luncheon taking place at the Rosen Centre Hotel on May 25, 2022! We hope you will join us to honor the great people who have done so much for our community's mental health.
