“An Introduction to Nonviolent Communication”

Our Mini-Monday on July 1st will be hosted by Elizabeth Knauer, long-time member and Practitioner at CCL who has brought her beautiful operatic voice and music ministry to many of our Sunday services and holiday celebrations over the years.
Elizabeth is also a long-time student and practitioner of Nonviolent Communication (NVC), first developed by Marshall Rosenberg, Ph.D, and taught worldwide by the Center for Nonviolent Communication https://www.cnvc.org/. Non-Violent Communication is a way of communicating that begins with a desire for deep understanding. It’s ideally a way to be “with” and accompany true feelings, to express and explore with sincere curiosity the needs we all possess, and to identify strategies to best meet them. The practice of NVC entails an intention to connect compassionately with ourselves and with others, an ability to keep our attention in the present moment, and to assist in making Life more wonderful.
In addition to being applicable to one-on-one communications, NVC can be adapted to different cultural contexts; it has been applied in peace building programs around the world, for rehabilitation in prisons, and in legal mediation programs. In this Mini-Monday program, Elizabeth will teach us the principles of NVC and give us opportunities to practice with one another.

Ordained Religious Science Minister, psychic, energy healer, counselor and teacher, Reverend Roby teaches people to master the science and the spirit of energy, while putting it to work for them in their lives.
Reverend Roby will offer Messages of Love and miracles of manifestation workshops on Friday night and Sunday, and special, individual sessions all day Saturday. Reverend Roby is lively and fun, and her workshops are engaging and deep.

Kathy Milano has recently returned from Peru’s Sacred Valley where she was in ceremony with the medicine people at many sacred sites. Meditating in the Temple of Sun in the mountains, she was asked to “seed the light.” Following the directive of Spirit, Kathy has invited 3 shamans to travel North to seed the light in South Jersey. This is a unique opportunity to enter ceremony with shamans who bring the traditional teachings and medicine practices of the Andes.
During the last weekend in July, all who are interested may gather as they share wisdom, ceremony, and Munay Ki initiations. Munay Ki (power of love) rites are energetic transmissions that upgrade the energetic body and offer initiation to enter a new relationship with Pachamama and the cosmic light.
For those interested in deepening into the medicine practices and teachings, an extended 5 day immersion is available. This will offer further teachings, practices, and ceremony which support integration and practical application of the teachings.
The shamans will also be offering private healing sessions for those attending the Seeding the Light gathering. Space in both programs is limited in order to ensure integrity of the ceremonies. Please register now via the link below.
