Eid al-Adha!
Rodneyse Bichotte Hermelyn
I wish a happy Eid al-Adha to all those who celebrate! The celebration of Eid-al-Adha is to commemorate Prophet Ibrahim’s devotion to Allah and his readiness to sacrifice his son, Ismail1. Eid-al-Adha, follows the completion of the annual Hajj pilgrimage, at the time of Qurbani (sacrifice). One of two largest celebrated Muslim holidays, Eid al-Adha following prayer is also a festive time where families and friends come together to feast, exchange gifts and enjoy time with one another2.

Eid Mubarak!
