For years I have treasured my work with Mountainfilm and Telluride AIDS Benefit. Over the past few months I've had the great honor of working with some new (to me) non-profit organizations doing incredible work in Denver such as:

• Level One Society -- working with Denver Health Foundation to provide funding for child and adolescent mental health research and services in Colorado
• Blue Star Theatres -- providing discounted tickets to military personnel, veterans and their families (Denver Center Theatre Company is a participating member)
• WalkDenver -- promoting pedestrian friendly growth in Denver (see Better Block Jefferson Park feature in Westword)
• Opera Colorado -- fundraising to provide education and access to the Arts
• McNichols Building -- located in Civic Center park, this gorgeous historic building was the original home of Denver's Public Library.  After being vacant for decades, it has just been re-opened as a public venue space, managed by Arts & Venues Denver, and is sure to be an exciting addition to Denver's Arts scene.  Check out these ridiculously fun photos from a benefit party for Level One Society | Denver Health Foundation on Halloween.

I still recall how excited I was the first time I saw a photo of mine in print -- it was a single photo across a double page spread, and I danced like a crazy woman when I saw it!  Six years later, it is still a thrill to be published.  If you have a fantastic project which deserves exposure, lets discuss how we can work together to get your work in front of the right potential clients!  Here are a few samples of Merritt Design Photo features currently running:

This incredible One Architects home in Telluride, CO was featured as Wall Street Journal's House of the Day this fall:

A fun commission to photograph director Barry Sonnenfeld and his incredible home and media room appears in a multi-page spread in Home Theater magazine this month.

Photos from this lovely Tommy Hein Architects' home in are running in a 10 page feature in Luxe (autumn, Colorado edition).

Two ways Merritt Design Photo can help you prepare this season!

1) Yes, it IS December, but it's never too late for family photos (especially if you're like me and have been known to send out "Happy late January" cards on account of a crazier than normal holiday season!)  I've been having a blast photographing families this season, and if time has run away from you but you'd still LOVE photos... I could be persuaded to squeeze in a few late "procrastinator special" sessions. Call or Email NOW if you're considering a last minute session!

2) Looking for a unique, affordable gift idea for clients?  Filled with sensual, seasonal iphoneography and featuring some of my favorite quotes about photography and design, this 8x8 calendar could be just what you're looking for!  Preview the full calendar here!
