Happenings at the Resort ~ September 2021
Hello Friends of Port Ludlow Resort,
As we say good bye to August, it feels like the summer has flown by. I hope that you have enjoyed the longer days. We wish we could say goodbye to COVID, however as we all continue to deal with health and safety challenges, I have to mention how grateful we are for all of you that have supported us. I take great pride in providing our guests a comfortable and relaxing space for respite in a natural rural environment, as well as offering some of the greatest food on the Peninsula, sourced locally from our artisans, farmers and fish mongers. Thank you all, we will continue to strive to exceed your expectations in the future.

With the upcoming Labor Day holiday approaching, I also want to recognize how proud I am of each and every one of our staff members. Without these fine folks, we could never achieve our goals of providing the warm and welcoming hospitality that our guests have come to expect. They have managed to thrive even with labor shortages, supply chain challenges, and a world wanting it to be the old way.

This year, more than any other has been particularly challenging for recruiting and training new staff members, so often times we have been shorthanded and in these cases our staff picked up the slack and did everything they could to take care of as many of you as they could. I am grateful for each and every one of them.

On your next visit, please share your appreciation with our staff on what a good job they’re doing.
