Summer Greetings

Welcome to summertime! Summertime evokes images of travel, leisure, vacation, relaxation, and we have enjoyed our recent trips to the Shore and the Easter Shore of Chesapeake Bay.

For us, it’s the perfect time to reflect on a year filled with vibrant special events and rich collaborations in music. It is also a great opportunity to explore and develop fresh ideas for the upcoming event season, and to engage with our clients, community members, and partners.

Event Entertainment Leadership

Collaboration, Creativity, Seamless Execution

Creating memorable experiences happens when you pair creativity with a talented team of professionals, whether it is for a social celebration or to elevate a corporate brand at a company event. Events are made to inspire, create, and engage. Today’s events must be even more creative, authentic, and experiential. Whether it is a cocktail or dinner reception to conclude a conference, a gala, an intimate reception, or a stage performance, our live music performances bring spark and create a beautiful blend of ambiance.



LB Entertainment’s experience in live music entertainment and our association with industry professionals have not only enhanced our event management leadership but also allowed us to set new standards of excellence within the industry.

Spotlight on Performances

Friday Night Lounge Series at The Philadelphia Museum of Art: We had the pleasure of performing at the Philadelphia Museum of Art for the Friday Night Lounge on several occasions this past year. It was a wonderful opportunity to showcase our diverse and talented bands, who performed various styles and influences of jazz and music, ranging from contemporary jazz to South African jazz, New Orleans & Caribbean jazz, to Brazilian choro. Our featured bands included the Laurent Bass Jazz Collective, the Rio Rhythm Project, Gumbo Nouveau, and AfroJazz ensembles.

Moreover, it was an honor and a pleasure to share our passion and creativity with the museum’s visitors and to connect with the art community in the museum’s sublime surroundings.

Laurent Bass Jazz Collective performed at the following events:

Independence Historical Trust Legacy Award Gala, honoring Dr. Henry Louis Gates, Jr., gala reception held at The National Constitution Center.

Barnes Foundation: VIP Reception for a private corporate event.

Philadelphia Museum of Art: Gala Reception for a private corporate event.

Porsche-Minima: Clients VIP Reception hosted by Porsche Main Line and Minima, Philadelphia’s premiere design gallery featuring contemporary furnishings and lighting.

The Logan Hotel: Classical and jazz soloists for various cocktail receptions for a private event.

Personal Endeavors

Travel: A Pilgrimage of Discovery

Laurent’s travels have taken him along the ancient paths of the Camino de Santiago, hiking 175 km from O Cebreiro to Santiago de Compostela. The stunning landscapes of Galicia served as a backdrop to a tapestry of human connections, woven with stories from people around the globe. Looking ahead to the fall, Laurent will be walking the west coast route from Santiago to Finisterre and Muxia, continuing his journey through the mystical corners of Galicia. These walks are not just a physical challenge but a quest for inner peace and global connections.

I wanted to share a personal passion that has been a significant part of my life and creative expression—photography. My journey into the world of photography began as a simple curiosity and has since evolved into a deep passion. I strive to capture ephemeral memories and find delight in the unexpected.

Photography, much like music, captures moments and emotions, telling stories that words often cannot. Through my lens, I aim to offer a glimpse of wonder, to inspire a pause, a smile, a connection.

I am excited to announce that I am finalizing my artist portfolio, which will be available soon.
