A Note from Gary Alpert,

President of SRVEF Board of Directors

On behalf of the San Ramon Valley Education Foundation board and staff, I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year and welcome to 2024!

Our board and staff are busy planning a year of programs and events to support our schools, engage the community, and support our school affiliate foundations. We look forward to exploring and supporting innovative programs to the benefit of and in partnership with the San Ramon Valley Unified School District. We are all passionate about public education and know that you are too.

Our Annual Season of Giving Campaign is coming to a very successful close. Our campaign generated over $20,000 so far to support libraries in the San Ramon Valley Unified School District. We thank each of our generous donors. If you still wish to donate (it is never too late), you may donate here and become a Friend of the Foundation.

School libraries play a vital role in preparing students to live and learn in a world of information. To learn more about school libraries, please visit the California Department of Education (CDE) site. Be sure to watch the video by Christine Sharrock, Golden View Elementary Library Media Specialist further explaining the role of our school libraries.

Have any ideas? Please share them by contacting us at info@SRVEF.org
