We are excited to announce that Dr. Hannah Kinsella has joined the GVEC team as our newest associate veterinarian.

Dr. Kinsella grew up surrounded by animals in a small town near Binghamton, NY. She attended SUNY Fredonia, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology. She then went on to veterinary school at The Ohio State University, where her passion for equine medicine emerged.  After veterinary school, Dr. Kinsella continued her education by completing a one-year equine rotating internship at The Ohio State University and was named ‘Intern of the Year’. During this internship, her interests focused on equine internal medicine. Following the conclusion of her internship, she went for advanced training at The Ohio State University and completed a 3-year residency in Equine Internal Medicine.

Dr. Kinsella enjoys all aspects of internal medicine but has special interests in neonatology, endocrinology, emergency and geriatric medicine. She is very excited to be a part of the team at Genesee Valley Equine Clinic and looks forward to meeting our clients on the farm and in the clinic.

Outside of work, Dr. Kinsella enjoys spending time with family and friends, particularly with her new son, Dawson, her husband, Michael, and her dogs, Lola and Emmy.
