Wild For Salmon in Bloomsburg, PA, is owned and operated by Steve and Jenn Kurian. We provide high-quality, sustainable, wild-caught Alaskan sockeye salmon products at a common good price.

Steve and Jenn own and operate the F/V Ava Jane in Bristol Bay, Alaska, where they harvest sockeye salmon every summer. The fish is processed and frozen within 12 hours of being caught and is brought home and sold at farmers markets, restaurants, and health food stores.

Wild for Salmon sells a variety of salmon, salmon products, whitefish, shellfish, and pet products. You can see most of their products at wildforsalmon.com, and you may place a preorder with us until noon the day before they attend the farmer’s market by calling their store. Wild for Salmon will be at EFM every 2nd Saturday through December.

Just in time for Mother’s Day! Phillips Farms will have an amazing selection of hanging baskets this week and many other beautiful potted flowers including Begonias, Geraniums and so much more! On the produce side, they'll have Greenhouse Tomatoes, Asparagus, Spinach, Lettuce, Swiss Chard, Radishes, Scallions, Fresh Herbs, and more.

Dark roast lovers it's time to celebrate! Back in stock for a limited time--Aged Sumatra.

The story goes that coffee was growing in popularity in Europe and "coffee houses" were popping up everywhere as centers for gathering. So merchant ships would bring coffee from Indonesia to Europe on very long voyages during which time they were exposed to tropical weather, the wood from the barrel that stored them and other environmental factors. By the time the coffee beans made the docks, they had weathered from a light green to a deep mahogany. And while other, shorter-traveled coffees were available, the coffees that made the long journey from the East Indies were the most prized for their complex taste and deep, satisfying aroma.

As you can imagine in our day and time, people have little patience to wait for coffee to age and it's expensive to have a crop take up space, be regularly turned and inspected, tested and when ready bagged for shipping. However, that is exactly what happens with this coffee. Aged "in-country" since 2019 in Sumatra, the deep mahogany color of the unroasted beans is unmistakable to the coffee roaster (that's us). It roasts to an amazing dark roast level, not burnt, but with a rich complex flavor including notes of toasted marshmallow, leather, cedar and pipe tobacco. Like fine wine, this one is for the coffee connoisseur.
