Halton Hills Sticker Map Program

Support Local Businesses with the Sticker Map Program!

This summer, Halton Hills is offering a unique opportunity for residents and visitors to explore the town and support local businesses through the Sticker Map Program. From June 1 to August 31, participants can collect stickers at various locations, showcasing the best of what our town has to offer.

How It Works:

  2. Travel around Georgetown, Acton, and Glen Williams and collect 1 mini sticker from a participating business from each location and put them on your big map sticker map.
  3. Stick your completed map on your water bottle, bike, computer, helmet, or wherever you'd like.
  4. Take a photo of your completed sticker map and upload it to visithaltonhills.ca/stickersubmission for a chance to win!

Business Spotlight: Superior Glove Makes Major Investment in New Operational Machinery

In the ever-changing world of this economy, Superior Glove recently has made significant investments in new machinery to enhance operational efficiency and meet market demands. Throughout the year, they have introduced new machinery and manufacturing processes across their operations in Acton, Honduras, and Newfoundland.

“We recognize the importance of being vertically integrated in our production and manufacturing as much of our raw material as possible and maintaining a big percentage of our glove production within the Americas. This gives us more platforms to innovate on and allows us to support our communities," said Tony Geng, President of Superior Glove.

New manufacturing investments include a two new glove dip lines in Honduras, new carding and spinning frames to increase production of our technical yarns in Newfoundland, and most excitingly, a new whole new manufacturing plant, opening in North Carolina Spring 2025.

“We take pride in our vertically integrated approach, which allows us to maintain the highest standards of excellence from start to finish," said Heather Larsen, Global Human Resource Partner for Superior Glove Honduras. "We invest heavily in the training and skills upgrading of all our team members to keep up with the latest technology in our industry.”

Superior Glove is committed to doing its part to strengthen the local economy in the all towns they operate factories in throughout the Americas.
