Every Holiday is Better With a Home

With the advent of a new year, the Habitat families we serve remind us that hope for the future is what our work is about. Here at Habitat, we believe that every child needs a place to call home, a place where they can play and dream and plan for their future

Friend, your gift to Habitat for Humanity of Denton County could help build and repair more homes so that more children have the space to learn, play, grow, and dream about their future.

A gift of $50 can provide a faucet for a family to wash dishes after a home-cooked meal. A gift of $100 can provide an interior door for a child to do homework in the quiet of their own room. You can easily give online today by clicking here or by mailing a check to: Habitat Denton, P.O. Box 425, Denton, TX 76202.

Ruth's Room, located at 1721 N. Carrol Blvd, is the official sister store to the Habitat Denton ReStore. They have contributed over 2 MILLION dollars to Habitat for Humanity over the last twenty years.

Partners like them are the reason we can build affordable housing in Denton County. An extremely special thanks to Bunny Hodges, the founder of Ruth's Room, and the hard work from their dedicated team of volunteers.

Denton Benefit League

Habitat for Humanity of Denton County has received a grant of $3,000 for new office furniture from the Denton Benefit League!

The Denton Benefit League's mission is to support local nonprofits and promote volunteerism in our community.

Their volunteers, donors, and sponsors have a long history of making Denton county become a more interconnected community. A community we are very grateful to serve.

The Habitat Village

It is exciting to announce that our upcoming project, the Habitat Village, is officially signed and registered with the City of Denton!

We can't wait to share more with you in the coming months. Keep an eye out for updates on our website as we get closer to the launch!

Located in Southeast Denton between Duncan St. and Hill St. and along Smith St., the Habitat Village will allow Habitat for Humanity of Denton County to have a firm foundation on which to build 35 affordable homes for the next 5-10 years!

We are thankful for all the donors, volunteers, and community members that helped make this dream a reality.
