Dear HSCS families,

Tomorrow is Flames Fun Day. We are looking forward to a fun-filled day with our fabulous students! Please see below for more information regarding attire.

Holy Spirit Catholic School will be hosting Fine Arts Night on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. in the Banquet Room. As a reminder, if you would like your child(ren) to participate in the vocal performances, RSVP by Monday, April 11, 2022, by filling out the google form below.

Please note that we are in need of volunteers for two of our events - Book Fair and Fine Arts Night. These volunteer hours will count towards your Parents as Partners hours. As a reminder, all two parent families are responsible for 20 hours of service each year and single parent families are responsible for 10 hours of service each year. Any incomplete hours are subjected to a financial obligation of $20 per hour. Thank you for your partnership in making these two events a success.

As a reminder, we only have one week left for our "40 cans of Lent" canned food drive. Please continue to bring in your canned goods during the morning car line. Our Holy Spirit St. Vincent De Paul Food Pantry will be able to help those in need in our community with our generous support!

Today, we recognized those students who participated in the Catholic Arts and Academic Competition. A big congratulations to our students. Please see below.

Students may not wear short shorts, tennis skirts, or leggings.

Flames Fun Day Attire:

Students may wear a HSCS spirit shirt with athletic or jean shorts that are an appropriate length to the knee. Students may also wear blue jeans or their school uniform shorts or pants. Sweatpants/joggers are also acceptable if they are not skin tight. Students may wear any type of athletic shoes with laces. They do not have to be their typical all-white or all-black school shoes.

Catholic Arts and Academic Competition

The 2021-2022 Catholic Arts and Academic Competition provides opportunities for students in grades Kindergarten through 8th grade in each of the Catholic Schools to showcase their talents and compete with others celebrating the theme of “I Matter Because…”

Each campus held a school wide contest with the first place winners from each school advancing to the Archdiocesan contest to be held in May. Today we recognize the first, second, and third place winners at Holy Spirit for the following categories of Literature, Visual Arts, and Bible Storytelling.

Holy Spirit Catholic School will be hosting Fine Arts Night on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. in the Banquet Room. This event is another beloved Holy Spirit Catholic School tradition we are bringing back that showcases our Fine Arts Program. Our PK3-5th grades and our Middle School Music and Theater Arts Electives are preparing a wonderful night of Art, Music, and Theater Arts that you will not want to miss!
