Why Are Employment Posters Important?
Employers are required to display labor law posters for the benefit of both employees and customers, informing them of key provisions in the law. Posters should be displayed in an area that is accessible to all employees, or made available for remote workers.

Form I-9 Set to Expire October 31, 2022
Employment Eligibility Verification Form I-9 is set to expire on October 31, 2022. The USCIS has advised employers to continue using the Form I-9, after its expiration date of Oct. 31, 2022 until further notice.
DHS will publish a Federal Register notice to announce the new version of the Form I-9 once it becomes available.

Implementing Employee Surveys Within a Small Organization
Employee engagement surveys are a great way to gauge how employees view their work environment, what they value and what can be improved upon. When done correctly, this data can provide employers with the tools to more effectively retain employees and enhance team engagement and performance.
However, surveying a small team can be tricky and leave participants wondering just how anonymous their input really is.
Here are a few tips to build confidence and reassurance when surveying a small team:
- Limit questions that indicate demographic data or a specific job role.
- Use inviting, open-ended questions such as:
What should we think about changing?
What concerns you most?
What advice can you give us on [topic]?
- Remind participants that any anecdotes shared, particularly in response to open-ended questions, might inadvertently make them identifiable.
- Use a third party to administer surveys and communicate with employees on how the information is being handled.
