Join us on Wednesday, July 31, at 12 p.m. in room 220 of the Green Library (GL) for a special book reading, complete with snacks and refreshments, hosted by the Office of Employee Assistance (OEA). The event will feature Doug Nelson, LMHC, author and former OEA clinician, who will present his book, Diminishing (Your) Worry and Stress: Authentic Stories from Real Life.
This wonderful book consists of 20 authentic stories of dealing with emotional health, mental health, and relationship issues by a counselor with more than three decades of experience. Doug will spend time sharing the story behind the writing of this book, as well as read aloud an excerpt and sign copies for sale.
This is a free event, and no purchase is required to attend!
Be sure to RSVP ahead of time by emailing the OEA. Attendees will also have the opportunity to enter a chance drawing to win a signed book copy. We can't wait to see you there!
