On behalf of the Housing Development Corporation of Bergen County the Housing Authority of Bergen the Housing Authority of Bergen County is pleased to announce beginning Monday, May 13 at 9:00 AM through Friday, May 17 at 11:59 pm pre-applications will be available for 2-bedroom apartments at Brookside Gardens located at 293 Murray Hill Terrace Bergenfield, New Jersey for income eligible senior citizens 62 years of age and older. The HABC will accept pre-applications ONLINE ONLY.

A random selection lottery will be conducted to select 50 eligible applicants to be placed on the wait list for future potential vacancies. To be eligible for the lottery, all completed applications must be received by 11:59 pm on Friday, May 17, 2024. Applications received after 11:59 pm on Friday, May 17, will be declined. The lottery will take place on Friday, May 24, 2024. Lottery results will be made available after May 24, 2024.

Applicants can check their lottery results in their online application portal at www.waitlistcheck.com.

For those who need assistance completing a pre-application, the Housing Authority will make staff available at Brookside Gardens 293 Murray Hill Terrace Bergenfield, New Jersey 07621. Staff will be made available to assist with the completion of applications Monday, May 13, 2024, through Friday May 17, 2024, from 10:00 am to 4:00 p.m.

To be eligible to apply, at least one household member/applicant must be 62 years of age or older. The total household annual gross income cannot exceed the following income limits:

Household Size 2, Maximum Annual Income $51,800

Household Size 3, Maximum Annual Income $58,300

Household Size 4, Maximum Annual Income $64,750

The Housing Authority of Bergen County is pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted from income eligible senior citizens (62+) households for 1-bedroom apartments at Boiling Springs Gardens located at 147 Hackensack St, East Rutherford, New Jersey. The 1-bedroom apartments are 495 square feet and contain a bedroom, closet space, bathroom, and full kitchen.

Beginning Monday, May 13, 2024, at 9:00 am through Friday, May 17, 2024, at 11:59 pm the HABC will accept applications ONLINE ONLY. Applications will be available at https://www.waitlistcheck.com/NJ3022-2590 We will accept applications from 1 and 2 person households only.

A random selection lottery will be conducted to select 250 applicants to be placed on the wait list for future potential vacancies. The HABC will use a third party to randomly select 250 applicants to be placed on the waiting list. To be eligible for the lottery, all completed applications must be received by 11:59 pm on Friday, May 17, 2024. Applications received after 11:59 pm on Friday, May 17, 2024, will be declined. The lottery will be held on Friday May 24, 2024. Applicants can check their lottery results in their online application portal at www.waitlistcheck.com. Lottery results will be made available after May 24, 2024. Applicants not selected for initial occupancy will remain on the waiting list for future occupancy.

For those who need assistance completing an application, the Housing Authority will make staff available at Boiling Springs Gardens, 147 Hackensack Street, East Rutherford, NJ 07073. Staff will be made available to assist with the completion of applications from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm, Monday, May 13, 2024, through Friday, May 17, 2024.

To be eligible to apply, the head of household must be 62 years of age or older with an annual gross income which cannot exceed the following income limits:

The Borough of Paramus is opening up its waitlist for six (6) affordable two (2) bedroom townhomes for rent with reduced rents for disabled veterans only. All 6 townhomes have elevators and are ADA accessible. The Veterans in Paramus Townhomes complex is located at 105 North Farview Ave., Paramus, NJ.

Affordable housing rents will be offered to very low, low & Moderate income – qualifying households. Interested veterans will be required to submit their service related disability DD214 documentation papers, as well as income documents. In addition to affordable housing requirements, applicants are subject to tenant selection criteria set forth by the landlord, such as credit criteria.

Apartments must be occupied by 2 people or more. Income based on the 2024 Affordable Housing Regional Income Limits;
