Our 2024 Hot Topics in Emergency Medicine for Advanced Practice Providers is an in-person with livestream event on October 5th, 2024. The symposium is focused on providing participants with the most recent, evidence-based information on leading topics in emergency medicine. Presented by leading experts in Emergency Medicine, the format for the lectures are case-based, highlighting the main teaching points, followed by a lively Q&A discussion session.

Last years online symposium was a major success -- we listened to your feedback and are also offering the course as on-demand after the symposium has ended. The on-demand sessions will be available for 90 days after the event, and credit can be claimed for each presentation.

  • Utilize best practices in managing EM, critical care, urgent care, and pediatric patients, such as UTI. 
  • Apply management strategies for acute infections and abnormal neurologic presentations. 
  • Develop appropriate treatment plans to manage critical care patients, such as cardiac emergencies.
  • Optimize management of cardiac emergencies, including acute right sided ventricular failure.
  • Advance the approach and management of a patient in real-time through SIM, ultrasound guided IV placement, splinting, and airway management. 
  • Enhance EKG interpretation and bedside side ultrasounds through real-time instruction.
