Meet your PSG Honors College Senators
As a relatively new college, the Honors College is getting representation on the Purdue Student Government Senate for the first time this year. Every academic college has three seats on the Senate. Your senators want to set a precedent of regular communication and transparency. All three have set up official senator Facebook pages, where you can read about their voting records and other initiatives they are involved in through PSG.

Election series digs into campaigns & polling
Rolfe Peterson, an assistant professor of political science at Susquehanna University, will be visiting the Honors College to give a public talk and present a campaigns and elections simulation.
The simulation involves students grouping into campaign teams, selecting candidates, developing platforms, raising money, planning and executive events, creating advertising, and standing for election.
It all culminates with an Election Day (Friday, Oct. 21) where an electorate (your peers) will vote on the winning campaign.
The exercise is designed to show how the modern campaign revolves around an organization. It begins on
Monday, October 17 at 4:30 p.m. in HCRS 1066.
You will need to register ahead of time if you are interested in participating by emailing Dr. Natasha Duncan at
ntduncan@purdue.edu.
Peterson's public talk will focus on the tone of the presidential campaigns. It is set for
Thursday, Oct. 20 at 6:00 p.m. in the Honors Hall.
