Did you know the Honors College is built on four pillars?
- Interdisciplinary academics
- Undergraduate research
- Leadership development
- Community and global experiences
Each week, we will include a profile of a student who exemplifies one of our pillars, or primary tenets. We begin this week with Leadership Development.
The Honors College offers many opportunities for students to take ownership of our scholarly community and shape the vision for its future. You can get involved in groups such as the HLC, Purdue Student Government, Peer Mentors, Honors Ambassadors, The Society and more. Leadership development: Giovanni Malloy
Forging change with determined leadership
Giovanni Malloy has served in almost every leadership group the Honors College has and in many roles outside it.
The senior is one of the main reasons the Honors College has representation on the Purdue Student Government Student Senate.
He authored the first-ever constitutional referendum for PSG and relentlessly collected signatures to make it happen.
