Two new Federal reports were recently released that have a public health impact.
  1. The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) released its 2022 Report to Congress: Update on Access, Exchange, and Use of Electronic Health Information.
  2. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released this month its Public Health Data Strategy: Public Health Data Goals and 2-Year Milestones.

The HLN team attended and presented several sessions at the AIRA2023 Annual Meeting in San Diego from May 2-4. Here is our team’s take on this year’s exciting event.

HIMSS23, held in Chicago April 17-21, 2023, was attended by more than 35,000 worldwide. Like past years, it centered around a trade show exhibit hall, interoperability showcases, and educational sessions.
