We are overjoyed to welcome His Eminence 104th Ganden Tripa, the spiritual leader of the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism, to Amitabha Buddhist Centre in June 2024! Ganden Tri Rinpoche will be bestowing a series of precious teachings and initiations in Singapore at our request.
The teachings on 2 & 3 June will be held at Futsing Association Building. All other sessions will be held at ABC. All teachings will be taught in Tibetan with English translation. Chinese translation will also be available for the Chenrezig Initiation and Amitabha Initiation. Seating is on a first come, first served basis.

Ganden Tri Rinpoche will be conferring the Chenrezig Initiation and Amitabha Initiation. There are no prerequisites. Registration is not required.
观音菩萨灌顶及阿弥陀佛灌顶由甘丹赤巴仁波切亲赐。无前提条件, 无需报名。
Practice commitments: To recite the respective mantra every day. Students can decide on their own how many mantras they wish to commit to recite daily. Dietary requirement: To keep to a vegetarian diet on the day of initiation and avoid the consumption of black food such as eggs, onions, garlic and radish.
每日修持：接受灌顶之后，受灌者必须每日念诵定数的心咒，次数由受灌者决定。
饮食要求：受灌当天得持纯素，不应食五辛（如葱、蒜、白萝卜等）及蛋类食品。

(4) Teaching: Song Possessing the Four Mindfulnesses
5 June (Wednesday), 7.30pm – 9.30pm
The Song Possessing the Four Mindfulnesses was composed by the Seventh Dalai Lama based on the teachings given to Lama Tsongkhapa by Noble Manjushri, the embodiment of the wisdom of all the Buddhas. Concise, poetic yet profound, the text captures the key points that a student of Middle Way philosophy should hold in mind and practise. All are welcome and registration is not required.
(5) Heruka Five Deities Initiation

(6) Vajrayogini Initiation
9 June (Sunday), 3pm – 7pm
Ganden Tri Rinpoche will be conferring the Heruka Five Deities Initiation and the Vajrayogini Initiation. You may register for either one of the initiations or both the initiations, provided you meet the prerequisites as set out below.
Heruka Five Deities Initiation
Prerequisites
- Be familiar with the lam-rim teachings.
- Have faith in and respect for the Guru.
- Keep the lifetime practice commitments stated below.
Lifetime Practice Commitments
- To keep the bodhisattva and tantric vows.
- To do the daily practice of the Six-Session Guru Yoga.
- To do the Heruka Five Deities Short Sadhana daily if it is possible and you have the time for it.
Vajrayogini Initiation
Prerequisites
- EITHER: Have received a great initiation of highest yoga tantra, such as Heruka Chakrasamvara, Guhyasamaja or Yamantaka. OR: Will be receiving the Heruka Five Deities Initiation on 8 June.
- Be familiar with the lam-rim teachings.
- Have faith in and respect for the Guru.
- Keep the lifetime practice commitments stated below.
