Los Hermanos Familia (LHF) reminds you that the deadline is fast approaching. We value education and we believe that our organization’s role is in part to increase the habitus for area families by fostering an environment that offers them more exploration and programs that provide knowledge, life experiences, and opportunity - such as scholarships.
LHF is committed to increasing attention to education by providing tools and addressing issues impacting families.
One such way - LHF is challenging high school juniors and seniors to write a college application style essay (no longer than 850-words) that describes how your family and how their struggles, achievements, and decisions have resonated with and inspire you. Your family’s story or impression of your successes equals your family’s glory - as well as the communities. Essays should be specific, have a clear narrative, and adhere to the theme of the challenge as well as towards obtaining a higher education.
