We’ve heard from many of you about the increase in noise! We appreciate the new signatures on the petition.
The FAA’s Noise Policy Review public comment period is open until Friday September 29. Our draft input for your review is here; let us know any feedback about the Executive Summary or our answers to the FAA’s questions. For more background on FAA Noise Policy issues please see the 2022 City of Palo Alto’s written testimony on Aviation Noise: Measuring Progress in Addressing Community Concerns. We have not seen new input from the City yet, but we will share when we see it as well as our final copy after incorporating comments.
HELP make some history and participate!
The FAA has not changed its noise policy since the agency was established during the infancy of aviation. It is up to YOU to make them change it. Take a minute, let the FAA know that it’s time to update their policy! Use initials if you don’t want to use your name and you can also post anonymously.
