Cybersecurity Awareness Month
The month of October is nationally recognized as Cybersecurity Awareness Month. For 18 years, it has raised awareness about the important of cybersecurity across the nation, ensuring we all have the resources needed to be safer and more secure online.

This year's theme "Do Your Part. #BeCyberSmart" encourages individuals and organization to own their role in protecting their part of cyberspace, stressing personal accountability and the importance of taking proactive steps to enhance cybersecurity. HDA Webinar: Building Hawaii Intel Career Pathways Together
Hawaii Defense Alliance hosted its first webinar “Building Hawaii Intel Career Pathways Together” on September 21 that explored workforce development and building career paths in data science, cybersecurity and intelligence to meet the emerging needs of the Department of Defense and private sector contractors in Hawaii.

2021 Pacific Defense Contracting Summit
Oct. 19 - 21, 2021 at 7 a.m. - 4 pm HST

The focus of this 3-day Summit includes the U.S. West Coast, Hawaii, Alaska, Guam, Japan, the Koreas, and China/Taiwan/South China Sea. The 2021 Pacific Defense Contracting Summit will provide defense contractors, subcontractors and small businesses nationwide with the latest information.
