Dear Members and Friends,
June was an excellent month for our Cincy-metro area. There was good news in all the economic indicators that measured the potential growth for our region for the next few years. Organizations are confident in the future development of our economy; this has been reflected in the fact that almost all organizations (large and small) require more and more employees. It is important to us because we continue to get requests from companies interested in having a more diverse workforce at all levels in their organization.

As we continue our monthly activities, the name of our dear friend, Mr. Simon Sotelo, who passed away five weeks ago, remains a constant presence in our conversations with our members. In honor of his memory and his contributions to our community, we are proud to announce the creation of the Simon Sotelo Scholarship Award. This annual award will be presented to a deserving Hispanic student who wishes to pursue their education in our Cincy-metro schools, ensuring that Mr. Sotelo's legacy lives on.
