RISK ASSESSMENT COURSE

MSA has just released a new online training course called Hazard Analysis, Risk Assessments & Workplace Control Measures.


Is your team proficient in recognizing workplace hazards, assessing associated risks, and implementing control measures?



Equipping your staff with the skills to pinpoint hazards and collaborate with management to mitigate risks through effective controls is crucial for fostering a safer work environment for everyone.

Amendments to Sask. Employment Act

On May 17th, changes to the Sask. Employment Act will come into effect in the province. Key changes include:


  • The definition of a worker has been clarified to include secondary and post-secondary students.
  • Employers are required to investigate incidents of harassment.
  • Employers are required to have a violence policy and violence prevention plan in place.
  • OHS Officers can take photographs and or recordings during a workplace inspection.
  • OHS Officers can exclude nominee from an interview during an investigation
  • As well as other general amendments.
