Teenagers in Grades 8-12 are invited to participate in a multi-faceted ministry at Hennepin Avenue United Methodist Church. You're encouraged to join Youth Director Rick Belbutoski and other adult leaders for a variety of ministries, events, and ways to serve your neighbor in the name of Jesus Christ.

Hello Hennepin Youth & Families!

This is a milestone Sunday for six youth, who will be Confirmed tomorrow. This special circumstance will mean slight adjustments to the Sunday morning schedule, specifically for Youth Small Group, which after getting a great start last week, will take this Sunday off to come support their peers. Youth Small Group will return to the same time and place Sunday Sept. 29.

The Schedule for 9/22

Confirmation from 9:00 - 9:45 in the Church of Youth Room (Please bring signed participation and health forms.)

Youth Group from 5:00 - 6:00 pm in Church of Youth Room.

Dinner from 6:00 - 6:30

Journey Choir from 6:30 - 7:30 in the Choir Room.

Sunday, we will be blessed to have the Charlsen's providing dinner for the youth. If you're interested in supporting this fellowship time between youth group and Journey Choir please email me at rick@haumc.org.

Fall Lock - IN Oct. 12 - 13

To celebrate the fall season, all youth grades 8-12 are invited to join us for the Fall Lock - In. The event will begin at 6:00 pm at the Sky Zone in Edina before grabbing Pizza, and heading back to Hennepin for fun and games.

We will need volunteers to help with transportation to help make this fun night a reality, so please let me know if you can help. The cost of the Lock - IN is $30. Look for the sign up in next week's email.

Trunk-or-Treat

October 27, 4 pm in the Parking Lot

Trunk-or-Treat is right around the corner! On October 27 from 4:00 to 5:30 pm Hennepin will host hundreds of kids from the church and neighborhood for this family-friendly event. Help us make this celebration a success by bringing extra candy to the East entry starting September 29.

To volunteer for this great event, go to haumc.org/register to sign up to be a trunk host, help with indoor hospitality, or do face paintings.
