Ribbon Cuttings
A ribbon cutting was held for Julie Pace, owner of Grand Lake Real Estate Professionals located at 405 S. Main in Grove. Julie moved to the lake in 2007 and has become a favorite of many with her bubbly personality and her "get it done" attitude. She opened her business in April and at the present time is seeing clients by appointment only. Joining the Chamber is her way on continuing with her community service. Julie has been active with the Chamber as an Ambassador and has attended Leadership Grove.

The Grove Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors gathered for a ribbon cutting at Events on Third, located at 414 E. 3rd Street on Friday, November 19. Events on Third is a beautiful venue which can host up to 150 people. They specialize in baby showers, birthday parties, business meetings, private events, and graduation parties. 'RYN Supply & Co. was the place to be on Friday, November 19 for a ribbon cutting to celebrate one of our newest and youngest Chamber members, Alexa Sumpter, owner and manager of 'RYN Supply & Co. This new business is located at 414 E. 3rd in Grove. Alexa is a young lady just fresh out of high school with big dreams of operating a business specializing in something for everyone with an emphasis on a Southwestern style. We are all sure that Alexa will be very successful in her endeavors.

Northeast Technology Center's, Rebekah King was the speaker for a workshop on Wednesday, November 17. We went over planning on a budget, branding, elevator pitch and LinkedIn profiles. Headshots were taken after the workshop.

This event has always proven to be a huge shopping day for our area and will be held the same weekend as the Chamber's Lighted Christmas parade and the all new Cocoa Crawl. Participation is free. Lights on the Lake 21st Annual Lighted Christmas Parade

A time honored tradition beloved by many returns for its 21st season! Nothing brings out the child in all of us quite like watching dazzling lighted floats glide through the streets of town during the most anticipated Christmas event of the season, the Annual Lighted Christmas Parade! Griswolds of Grand

’Tis the season for bragging rights and friendly competition, but we’ll settle for anything civil. Bring out your inner Clark Griswold this Christmas with the Griswolds of Grand Decorating Competition! The Grove Area Chamber of Commerce encourages our members and the community to work together in the spirit of the season to increase curb appeal and to promote shopping local by making our city shine a little brighter this Christmas.

“Nobody's walking out on this fun, old-fashioned family Christmas!”
Participating businesses and residences will be judged between November 29th and December 2nd in three divisions: commercial interior, commercial exterior, and residential exterior. Three lucky winners will be announced and awarded at the “Lights on Grove! Christmas
