The 7th Annual PUSD Women’s History Assembly, celebrating Women’s History Month, is taking place on March 20th at 6:00 pm, in the Marshall Fundamental Historic Auditorium. Join us to celebrate students’ essay writing and artwork, from all PUSD secondary schools.
The event is free and open to all. We look forward to seeing you then!

Please select from one of the following topics:
- Describe how you have been involved in the Marshall community. Explain your role(s) and include specific details of the activity(ies) and how your involvement led to positive outcomes for your school community. In addition, describe how you have changed and grown as a student as a result of your participation.
- Describe a volunteer role or employment in the outside community you have participated in as a Marshall student. Explain what lessons you have learned and how you have grown as a person as a result of your service or work experience. How do you intend to give back to the larger community after you graduate?
- Detail how an experience at Marshall shaped your career goals and what steps you intend to take to accomplish them. Explain personal qualities that you have developed while a Marshall student that you feel will help you work toward your goal.
Please write a one to two-page essay regarding your chosen topic.

2024 Latin Grad Celebration Essay Contest | |

1st Annual Latin Grad Celebration Essay presented by PADRES in collaboration with PUSD.
Essay Topic Options:
- Low Latin-Youth voter turnout, and the effect on communities
- What is the importance of leadership within the Latin community?
- How do you propose to break the cycle of poverty in underprivileged communities?
Prizes:
1st Place: MacBook Pro
2nd Place:$500 Cash Card
3rd/4th Place: $250 Cash Card
Essay word range is 500 to 800 words, and must be emailed to padrespusd@gmail.com

Volunteers needed to make graduation leis. The PTSA is hosting two lei-making sessions, high school students can earn up to four service hours plus have fun hanging out and crafting with friends.

Athletic Clearance for the 2023-2024 School Year
Marshall Fundamental uses an online process to submit Athletic Information. This is an easier way to clear athletes to participate in sports. Please upload the necessary paperwork to www.AthleticClearance.com All athletes must be cleared prior to tryouts and practice.

Claudia Fotiou is a member of the Marshall Fundamental Team as Head Athletic Trainer. She works with our high school student-athletes and provides sports medicine healthcare. This includes providing treatment and helping student-athletes from injury prevention all the way to return to play.
