Greetings!
Greetings to the all of you!
I am very excited to join all of you in this parish community. Many of you have probably seen me already as I have celebrated many liturgies here. Today, I formally begin my ministry as your pastor. In order for me to introduce myself, the staff and I worked on a video that would hopefully give you a glimpse about myself. Just simply go on our Facebook page. I am sure that we will have many opportunities in the days, weeks, months, and years ahead of us to get to know each other.
This coming weekend, I will be celebrating most of our Masses and will be preaching at all of them. For those who you who are unable to attend Mass, I hope that you would join me virtually as we give thanks for the gift of our faith and one another.
I wish to thank Father Brendan for the great work that he has done for our Parish. We pray for him as he transitions to St. Simon Parish. I also wish to thank Bishop Cantu for entrusting me Holy Spirit Parish. I promise to do my very best to care and to love all of you. I look forward to serving you all along with Father Edgar and the staff.
As we begin this journey together, I ask for your prayers and I assure you of my prayers as well.
Finally, as our Nation commemorates the 244th anniversary of our Independence on Saturday, July 4, I wish all of you a Happy and Safe Fourth of July.
God bless you!
Fr. Ritche
