It's time for Summer Fun! There's lots going on this month and you definitely want to be here the weekend of June 28th for our Annual Strawberry Festival on Friday evening followed by the Burklyn Arts Summer Craft Fair on Saturday at their new Darling Hill Road location!

Unpack & Unwind


Whether you want to pitch a tent for two, enjoy a lakeside cabin or rent a house for the whole family, lodging choices abound in and around Burke.


Enjoy 13 acres of privacy at Play Hard Mountain Sports vacation rental. The beautiful post & beam home features a spacious kitchen and sleeps up to ten people. It's located just a half mile from the Kingdom Trails Kirby Connector.


Located on Crystal Lake, Lakeview Cabins offers 8 one and two bedroom cabins with full kitchens. The property has a private beach, canoes for borrowing, a boat launch, picnic area, fire pit, playground and more for guest use.


Unplug and connect with nature at Camp Kiki. Two primitive campsites are available, each with a cedar tenting platform, picnic table, bike rack, private use port-a-potty and more. The sites offer direct access to Kingdom Trails.


For waterfront camping, check out Lakeside Camping in Island Pond which offers 200 camp and RV sites. The property features a private beach, playground, general store, showers, sunset lake cruises and more. On-site events include a lobster pot luck, cornhole tournaments and more.

Summer News


The season has just begun and there is much to look forward to including a new Farmers' Market! The weekly market happens Saturday mornings at The Wildflower and vendors include Don-Sim Farm, Firefly Farm, Dirt Church Brewery and more. The Wildflower is also hosting a Summer Music Series with performances on Fridays and Saturdays.


The Orange Rind will also be featuring live music on weekends. CLICK HERE for this year's line-up of local talent.


Free, outdoor concerts are back in St. Johnsbury starting later this month. This year's line-up includes Alysha Brilla, Mal Maiz, Adam Ezra Group and more.


Kingdom Trails has lots in the works this summer including enhancements to the Kitchel Trail that including adding 2 new descending trails along the corridor. KT is also working on the Lyndonville Connection, a 1.98 mile trail from the KT parking in East Burke to Kingdom Campground off of Route 5 in Lyndonville.


The Vermont Symphony Orchestra returns to Burke Mountain on July 6th. The 'Symphony of Stars' outdoor show is a celebration of the VSO's 90th Anniversary! Later this summer, the Burke Mountain Bike Park will be hosting the Eastern States Cup Enduro Races.
