Savor the View

Tis the season for al fresco dining. Thankfully, there are lots of places to enjoy dinner outside including at Firefly Farm where they are hosting farm dinners this summer with local chefs.

Enjoy the view at the appropriately named View Pub at Burke Mountain where you can dine on the deck and take in the stunning view of Willoughby Gap.

In East Burke Village, you can sit outside at Mike's Tiki Bar and enjoy a craft brew along with a burrito from Two Tamales or a pie from Flat Tire Pizza.

Enjoy a craft cocktail with dinner at the outdoor gazebo bar at The Orange Rind. For a refreshing treat, head to Clementine's ice cream next door and for a refreshing dip, take a splash in the river.

In West Burke, Next Trick Brewing offers outdoor seating with sausages, tacos, maple mac & cheese and more from Trinia's Cuisine on select days each week.

Those Darling Hill Views can't be beat and The Wildflower offers them in abundance with several outdoor dining options including patio seating and a trailside beer and snack bar.

Did you know the restaurant at The Inn at Burklyn is open to the public? Well, it is and it offers amazing mountain and garden views from the spacious deck. What better way to treat yourself than with dinner at the mansion and a nightcap on the porch?
