おはようございます、そしてようこそ、
今週の日曜日には、2つの福音書の話があります。一つは2週間前に話した、山で変身するイエスの話です。もう一つは、イエスが厳しい時期を予言し、私たちに世俗のことにあまり焦点を当てないように促し、イエスに恥じる者は結果として苦しむであろうと警告しています。これはイエスに全力で従うことを教えています。
これらのマルコの話によれば、イエスは困難に直面しましたが、彼には非凡な何かがありました。これらの話は、イエスに従うことは厳しいかもしれませんが、それは価値があり、困難な時期でもポジティブな結果があることを教えています。
最近、私は金継ぎ（きんつぎ）について話し、壊れたものを美しさに変える日本の技術、そして桜についても話しました。変身は幸福になり、私たち自身の最高のバージョンになることを意味します。
カウンセラーとして、問題について話すことがポジティブな変化をもたらすのを見てきました。変身はより良くなることです。
告解の秘蹟では、過ちを認め、新しいスタートのために許しを受けます。これは特に四旬節中に神父と話す良い機会です。
イエスが私たちを良い変化へ導くように、聖十字聖公会もますます皆が繁栄する場になっています。

Good morning and welcome,
This Sunday, we have two Gospel stories. One is about Jesus transforming on a mountain, discussed two weeks ago. The second is about Jesus predicting tough times, urging us to focus less on worldly things and warning that those ashamed of him will face consequences. It teaches us about fully committing to following Jesus.
These Markan stories show Jesus faced challenges but had something extraordinary about him. They teach us that following Jesus can be challenging but worth it, with positive outcomes even in difficult times.
Recently, I've discussed Kintsugi, turning broken pieces into beauty, and Sakura, a metaphor for change. Transformation means becoming happier and the best version of ourselves.
As a counsellor, I've seen how discussing problems helps make positive changes. Transformation is about becoming better.
In the sacrament of confession, we admit mistakes and receive forgiveness for a fresh start. It aids our transformation journey, especially during Lent—a perfect time to talk to a priest.
Just as Jesus guides us to positive change, Holy Cross is more and more becoming a place where everyone thrives.
