May 1st is World Asthma Day!

What can you do to help reduce air pollution both indoors and out so that we can all breathe easier?
Inside, use eco-friendly cleaners and avoid strong scents. Outdoors,  the simplest act is to turn off your car. Most cars are so efficient that idling for 10 seconds uses more fuel than restarting. Check out the video from students at District 93 for more on the importance of #TurnItOff.

This twice-annual, one-day event provides a number of locations to safely dispose of unused medications. Find a location near you!
Going to a shred event? Watch this clip!

Learn what can and can't be taken for shredding at any of the upcoming events. It's important to stick to only what's accepted for safety (some materials are a fire hazard!) and recyclability.
