SEPTEMBER 2020
Hello Friend of the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Shasta,

I hope that you and your family are staying well, happy and balanced through these unprecedented times.

At the Club, we are in the second week of our members returning to school and adjusting to the new distant learning schedule. We have been doing WHATEVER IT TAKES to create a safe, supportive, caring environment for our Club kids during these challenging times. All the while adhering to the CDC guidelines.

We are continuing to improve our capability to support all of our members' learning needs and have been in communication with the school administrators, teachers, and parents in order to better assist youth with their distant learning school work.

This is a huge undertaking on our part, and we are very fortunate to have such an amazing, dedicated, caring team! I want to thank the MSUSD School Board and Staff for their dedication and continued support throughout this process.

Thank you all for your continued support, and remember that together is better, be kind, supportive, listen to one another, practice compassion and have empathy, especially during these most challenging times.

HELP US MAKE A DIFFERENCE TODAY, FOR A BRIGHTER TOMORROW.
When you give to the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Shasta, you are investing in hope and opportunity for our community’s young people. During COVID-19, we are doing whatever it takes to support youth and families in our community, and through this matching fundraising campaign, we are hoping to do even more.
When we meet our goal of raising $80,000 (plus another $80,000 in matching funds!), we can continue to offer our services to the families we serve at a minimal cost to them through our scholarship program.
