I want to take a moment to recognize and express my profound gratitude for the Greater Dallas AFP Chapter board of directors and the 2024 DFW Philanthropy in Action Conference committee for the invaluable work they do. We are a board of volunteers and working fundraising professionals with a passion and dedication to serving our communities and improving our profession.
The role of fundraising professionals is more critical and difficult than ever. We are not just raising funds, we are building relationships, fostering trust, and creating opportunities for growth and transformation. Successful, sustainable fundraising takes strategic thinking, creativity, and perseverance. As we look to the future of our chapter, our profession, and the nonprofit industry, it is important to me that we continue to prioritize our members’ educational and professional networking opportunities. And I’m excited for all that this year’s DFW Philanthropy Conference will provide.
