I am finding such joy in watching the 2024 Paris Olympics. I feel so hopeful seeing all the countries of the world come together to advance the International Olympic Committee's mission to build a better world through sport, culture, and education. In so many ways the Olympics are like many of our organizations. We are also striving to build a better world and inspire others to join us in that purpose.
Like Olympians, fundraising professionals train hard and sacrifice, knowing that we are working to achieve something not always profitable or tangible. And when we are successful it can feel like winning an Olympic medal.
This month I am excited for consultant Heather Stevens, owner and principal of Rise 360 to share her wisdom on all things capital campaigns.
