Great Shape! Inc. is thrilled to announce some exciting new staff updates!

Shantelle Clarke is promoted from "Project Manager" to "Program Director". As program director, Shantelle will have more overall responsibility for the 1000 Smiles Project in both regions: Jamaica and the Eastern Caribbean. 

Executive Director, Papa Joe says, "We are thrilled to see the professional growth and level of expertise that Shantelle has earned and learned through hard work and dedication to Great Shape! and its mission. We are blessed to have her passion, professionalism and love for the program."

Here is what Shantelle had to say about her promotion:

"I'm so grateful for this opportunity to continue to serve Jamaica and the Eastern Caribbean in this new capacity. I look forward to expanding our reach and continuing to improve the dental care that we are bringing to the children and families in the Caribbean."

Bev Woods will lead the St Lucia and Grenada 1000 Smiles Projects in 2024 as Project Manager. 

Papa Joe says, "We are very lucky to have Bev's lifetime of experience in leading dental outreach programs. Bev is a bundle of energy and joy and we are delighted to have her passion for this work".  Bev is the founder and ED of Gift From The Heart, a nonprofit in Canada that provides dental care.

I am thrilled to be joining the Great Shape family.

My passion for humanitarian work has been a long-standing commitment. In 2008, I established my own nonprofit charity, Gift from the Heart, to offer dental hygiene care to underserved communities in Ontario. Over the past fifteen years, our charity has continued to expand its services, providing vital oral healthcare to those in need.

Witnessing the impact of our work on so many people is truly heartwarming.

Traveling abroad to share my dental hygiene expertise has always been a dream of mine.

This dream became a reality when I discovered GREAT SHAPE! INC and learned about their impactful initiatives. Participating in their inaugural sealant program in Grenada was a pivotal moment for me.

The exceptional volunteers and leaders within the Great Shape family are truly remarkable in their dedication to helping others.

Being part of this organization has been a dream of mine.

I am overjoyed that Joseph Wright, the Executive Director of Great Shape! Inc, welcomed a Canadian like me to lead this year's programs in St. Lucia and Grenada.

Ashley Bingham joins the 1000 Smiles team as a full-time employee.
