Hello Friend of the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Shasta,
From everyone at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Shasta, we are wishing you and your family good health, happiness, and a sunny start to the Spring season.
As always, we remain committed to the safety and wellbeing of our Club members and staff, and are grateful to be able to continue to provide young people with educational opportunities, social & emotional wellness, guidance & positive activities.
With Summer just around the corner, we are excited to open registration for our Summer Program, and invite your child to join us for a Summer of Fun. Summer is a special time for our Club members, as they are invited to explore new hobbies, dive-into new experiences, build life-long relationships, while bringing the fun back into the lives of youth and providing a safe, fun place for kids to be kids during a time when they need it most.
Thank you all again for your continuous support. Together, we are creating a brighter future for this pivotal next generation of builders, innovators, and leaders.

We are so grateful and excited to announce the launching of our mobile Pop-Up Clubs, an initiative that can bring the ultimate Boys & Girls Club experience to any community with the turn of a key!

Due to the generous support of foundations such as the Ben B. Cheney Foundation, Nancy Driscoll Foundation, Walter and Karla Goldschmidt Foundation, and United Way of Northern California, we have our first Sprinter Van ready to hit the road and make an even deeper impact for young people across our counties. Your kindness and generosity are deeply appreciated, and we cannot be more thrilled to have the opportunity to launch a Pop-up Club with social-emotional wellness, nutritious meals, engaging activities, and caring mentors to young people in the most rural and underserved parts of our counties.

|
If you are interested in collaborating or partnering with us to bring the mobile Pop-Up Club, or even a satellite Club, to your community in Siskiyou or Shasta county, please contact us for more details!

This month was filled with exciting, engaging programs and activities that foster social-emotional wellness while bringing the fun back into the lives of youth.
One highlight from this month was the Kid's Day Festival hosted by the Family and Community Resource Center of Weed, where the Club had the special opportunity to run a booth with art & crafts, face painting, carnival games, and more! Another highlight was our field trip to Castle Crags State Park as a part of the Club's Ultimate Journey Program where Club members had the opportunity to take a rainy, adventure-filled hike with a special guest, Ranger Todd, while learning more about the surrounding natural wonders as well as the history of various state parks.
Check out all the fun Club members had creating memories, exploring new hobbies, and creating life-long friendships!

Did you know that by simply purchasing your regular Amazon purchases through Amazon Smile, Amazon donates .05% of your purchases to the Club with no impact on your purchase total?
Let's break this down a bit...
According to Amazon, the average family spends about $100/month on Amazon purchases. That means over the course of a year, your purchases could result in a $60 donation to the Club. Multiply that by all of our supporters, and imagine the change you can make for Siskiyou County youth!
If you have any questions, please call our Office at 530-220-7623.
