Martha is a native Virginian and nationally recognized farmer on her family farm, Liberty Farm in Paris, Virginia. In 2016, the General Assembly honored her with a Joint Commendation from both the House and the Senate, recognizing her significant contributions to the Commonwealth and the nation. We are so grateful to have her Co-Chairing this event!
Focus on Hope
May is National Foster Care Month (a time to engage youth, continue building support, and strengthening opportunities).

This month, a particularly important and foundational time, please continue to support and pray for our growing and expanding mission at Place of Hope, and those we together lift and serve, as we regionally plan, develop, and dedicate more critically needed foster care and other housing opportunities, for the fatherless, the widow, and the needy.
For those inspired to support the Gary & Vivienne Player Foundation and become part of its Legacy Campaign, email infousa@garyandvivienneplayerfoundation.org to learn more about how you can make a difference in the lives of children in need.
Legacy Campaign Event - The Gary & Vivienne Player Foundation

Reflecting on the Foundation's unwavering commitment, Executive Director, Amanda-Leigh Player Hall, daughter of Gary and Vivienne Player, underscored the organization's focus on supporting initiatives that provide essential resources such as education, health, and housing to break the cycle of childhood poverty. Since its inception, the Foundation has positively impacted over 22,000 children through its support of 11 organizations dedicated to this cause.

The event also shone a spotlight on two non-profit beneficiaries who have been supported by The Gary and Vivienne Player Foundation, one of them being Place of Hope. This organization was recognized for their outstanding work in providing vital support and opportunities for vulnerable children, further highlighting the collaborative spirit and collective impact at the heart of the Foundation's mission.
