High School On-Campus Registration

2024-2025 School Year

Dear CSArts-SGV High School Families,

We hope that you are relaxing during these last few weeks of summer before school begins on Monday, August 12.

We would like to take this opportunity to provide you with important instructions and details pertaining to CSArts-SGV’s High School On-Campus Registration from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. on Tuesday, August 6 and Wednesday, August 7.

PRIOR TO ON-CAMPUS REGISTRATION

Before arriving at CSArts-SGV for On-Campus Registration, please make sure you have completed the following items:

  • If you have not yet done so, please click here to complete all steps of Online Registration.

  • Make sure you have submitted your Conservatory Funding Agreement (CFA) form and cleared any potential holds that may prevent your child from receiving their class schedule. Please see below for more information regarding your CFA.

Conservatory Funding Agreement (CFA)

Each year, parents/guardians are required to attend an Annual Parent Meeting and complete a Conservatory Funding Agreement (CFA) form as part of the annual enrollment process. If you have not yet participated in a mandatory Annual Parent Meeting OR submitted your 2024-2025 CFA form, it is imperative that you contact our Family Liaison, Larry Ruiz, at larry.ruiz@sgv.csarts.net as soon as possible.

CSArts-SGV does not receive state funding to operate its conservatory programs. This part of the school day is dependent on donations, such as those collected from the CFA. We recognize that each family has a unique financial situation; however, we encourage you to contribute through the CFA form at the highest level possible. If you are not able to donate the full requested amount for your child’s conservatory, you have the opportunity to sell or purchase digital program advertising space in the school’s performance programs and Gala program.

PARKING & ON-CAMPUS REGISTRATION MAP

Click here to view or print the On-Campus Registration Map. Because multiple events are taking place on the CSArts-SGV and Duarte High School campuses during On-Campus Registration, parking will be tight. The Highland Lot (north of the school) will be available, but will likely be heavily impacted. Parking will also be available on Northview Field, with an access point off of Central Avenue (south side of the school). Additional overflow parking is available on Central Avenue, east of Highland Avenue.

ON-CAMPUS REGISTRATION STATIONS

PLEASE NOTE: You will be directed to complete or obtain needed materials in order to clear any existing holds before being permitted to proceed through On-Campus Registration. This may require you to leave and return with required materials. The list of possible holds can be found below. Some holds may need payment in order to be cleared. Please pay all fees (those with fees were notified in June via email) on MySchoolBucks prior to arriving on campus.

Station A:

At your scheduled registration time listed above, start at the Registration Confirmation and Check-In table in front of the Duarte Performing Arts Center (PAC). If you arrive outside of your scheduled registration time, please wait in the Standby Line. At this table, you will confirm that you do not have any holds and are approved to proceed through registration.

Please proceed to the following buildings if you are notified at check-in that you have a HOLD status for any of the following reasons:

  • Missing Immunization Records (New Students) – Report to the Health Office table in the Cafeteria
  • Missing Spring 2024 Final Grades or Birth Certificate (New Students) – Report to the Student Services table in the Cafeteria
  • Missing or Incomplete CFA – Report to the CFA table in the Cafeteria
  • Incomplete Online Registration (Data Confirmation, Authorizations) – Report to Room 203
  • Fees – Report to the pay station in the Front Lobby (through the Cafeteria)
  • Incomplete or Missing Early College Registration – Report to Room 112

Station B

Once you have been cleared at Station A or the various hold stations, please proceed to the Parent Engagement and CSArts-SGV Merchandise Station in the CSArts-SGV Central Quad for important parent/guardian information and a chance to buy CSArts-SGV swag.

Station C

You will then proceed to the LA Metro TAP Card Station outside the Gym. Returning riders will be given new access codes with which to update their GoPass accounts. New riders will be given TAP cards and access codes, along with rider information and directions for setting up their GoPass accounts. These accounts allow students free public transit travel for the school year. We will also distribute important Gold Line safety information at this station. If you do not plan to utilize public transportation this year, you can skip this station.

Station D

You will then visit the City of Duarte Station, where you will learn more about Duarte, the Chamber of Commerce, and other key city services, such as the local Teen Center.

Station E

Please continue to the Technology Information Station. Here you will pick up important ParentSquare/StudentSquare and CSArts-SGV student account information.

Station F

Next is the Attendance Information Station. Learn key information about reporting attendance, early release slips, and school and state attendance policies.

Station G

Next is the Schedule Pick-Up Station in the 100s Wing (red building). At this station, students will receive class schedules (if all holds are cleared).

Station H

Please proceed to the Early College Station in the 100s Wing. Students will receive important information about our Early College Program and partnership with Citrus College.

Station I

Then, proceed to the Student Picture Station in the 300s Wing (yellow building). Students will take their yearbook photo and can order school pictures from Michael Negrete Photography. Seniors will take student pictures for their school IDs; however, separate senior portraits are available by appointment only with Michael Negrete Photography (more information will be available at Station L). Parents will have the opportunity to select their student’s yearbook picture from those taken at registration, as well as swap out the background for their own ordering purposes, including a personalized CSArts-SGV background. We are excited to partner with Michael Negrete Photography to provide you with these unique options!

Station J

Next, please visit the Planner Pick-Up Station in the 200s Wing (blue building). Students who purchased CSArts-SGV student-designed planners during Online Registration can pick up their planners. If you did not have a chance to pre-order a planner, a limited number will be available for $10, as long as supplies last. Thank you to student Chloe Tubbs (CW, ‘25) for the beautifully unique cover design!

Station K

Next is the Textbook Checkout Station in the 200s Wing. Please have your class schedule ready for the station helpers.

Station L
