Call for Expressions of Interest for SSHRC


SSHRC is seeking applications from diverse, talented Canadian graduate students or postdoctoral fellows interested in participating as a member of the Programs Committee of SSHRC’s governing council. There will be up to three (3) positions to fill.

2024 International Policy Ideas Challenge

-Objective: To identify concrete policy solutions that address emerging international challenges.

-Eligibility: Current graduate students (Master’s or PhD level) and post-doctoral fellows at a recognized Canadian post-secondary educational institution. Applicants must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada.

-Themes: We invite submissions on a wide range of topics, including sustainable development, human rights, and geopolitical stability. The list of thematic research questions will be available shortly.

-Recognition: Winning proposals will receive financial support, recognition, and an opportunity to present their ideas to Government of Canada officials.
