The 341st Contracting Squadron (341 CONS) is contemplating a solicitation for the maintenance and repair of natural gas lines throughout Malmstrom AFB, Montana. Work under this project may consist of the installation of approximately 3800 lf. of 6-inch gas main to complete a looping main, replacement of existing main lines with new mains requiring connections, and the replacement of two existing gas regulators and associated valving and meter.


Potential Acquisition Strategy

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 237120, with a size standard of $45,000,000.00. The estimated magnitude of the project is between $1,000,000

and $5,000,000.


The Government is looking to identify small, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOSB) concerns interested to serve in the capacity of a “Prime” contractor and have the capability to accomplish the requirements identified above. All responses must also include a statement that the company holds all required certifications and licenses to perform this type of work or can obtain them prior to award of a contract especially in the State of Montana.


The Government intends to use this information for business type decisions on the final solicitation product.
