If you missed last Sunday...
ECSM shared a service of progressive Christian worship on December 26 for our Christmastide, led by Rev. Will McGarvey and the music team. We marked the coming of the Christ child in Word, Christmas carols and special music. Together, we sang, What Child is This (145), Angels We Have Heard On High (113), Still, Still, Still (124), Hark the Herald Angels Sing (119), Go, Tell it on the Mountain (136), O Come, All Ye Faithful (133), and Good Christian Friends Rejoice (132). Elaine Palmer played our piano music for the service, with instrumental prelude of Do You Hear What I Hear (Regny & Shayne), with Jane Fish as she sang In the Bleak Midwinter (144), including the tune for Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence for the doxology and the postlude of a medley of both Away in a Manger songs in our hymnal (114 & 115 instrumental) for postlude. We sang special music from The Inn Advent series from Worship Design Studio: including multiple songs by Amanda Udis-Kessler: Love Comes to Us at Christmas, The Manger is Stranger, and Make of My Heart a Stable.
